Compliance Assistant – Intermediate Support (PSU0111)
Job Summary
The Compliance Assistant supports and facilitates the work of compliance teams and personnel. Responsibilities include coordinating daily activities and administrative processes; acting as compliance inquiry first point-of-contact; assisting with documentation composition, reviews and edits; maintaining databases and running reports; arranging/attending meetings; assisting with training.
Representative Duties
- Support compliance teams and personnel by planning, organizing, and coordinating daily activities and administrative processes; ensure efficient workflow, facilitate team communication, monitor case progress/deadlines, manage calendars
- Act as first point-of-contact for compliance inquiries; greet visitors; answer phone calls; distribute mail; respond to or direct inquiries to appropriate compliance team/personnel
- Collect, organize, and review documentation; assist with drafting, editing, and submitting correspondence, summaries, reports
- Maintain files; ensure proper storage, retention, and security; as required, sequester data and other evidence; ensure proper destruction at retention end
- Maintain databases; enter/code data; generate reports; coordinate with IT to add/edit user information and resolve issues
- Coordinate/liaise with other University offices to ensure timely inquiry and investigation reporting
- Arrange/attend compliance committee and other meetings; reserve rooms; prepare materials; assist with compiling analyst review materials and documentation; monitor regulatory quorum requirements; prepare meeting agenda/itineraries; record/prepare minutes
- Assist with internal training and external outreach; schedule and organize training sessions; track and monitor attendance/completion
- Assist with reviewing/revising compliance policies and procedures
- Assist with vetting potential inquiry and investigation committee members/officials

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 5
- Minimum – $38,300.00
- MidPoint – $46,900.00
- Maximum – $55,500.00

2+ years of relevant experience
