Job Summary

The Pharmacy Services Associate utilizes core knowledge of pharmacy policies and procedures to deliver an exceptional patient experience. This position is responsible for determining patients’ needs in person or by phone and accurately processing transactions. 

Representative Duties

  • Deliver an exceptional patient experience to a diverse patient base, in person or by phone
  • Determine patient needs; capture all required information from patients to accurately process and/or fulfill their requests
  • Operate cash register; process tender options including cash, credit, student bursar, individual charge accounts, athletics, etc.
  • Participate in the development and support of departmental needs
  • Maintain tools and inventory and ensure their availability for pharmacy operations
  • Accurately file and sort prescriptions by name; perform audit and validation functions related to prescriptions
  • May provide intake and receiving functions related to pharmacy inventory as needed

Salary Structure
  • Comp Grade – 4
  • Minimum – $34,800.00
  • MidPoint – $42,600.00
  • Maximum – $50,500.00
