Job Summary

The Analysis and Planning Manager provides leadership to a central analysis and planning team; directs large scale assessment initiatives with organizational impact; facilitates the development of innovative assessment models; and provides strategic planning recommendations to University leadership.

Representative Duties

  • Provide oversight for functions within a central planning and assessment office of an administrative area; lead and direct an analytics and reporting team
  • Lead the design and implementation of assessment initiatives that have University wide, strategic impact, at the request of senior leadership and executive groups
  • Direct and manage all components of in-depth institutional studies including development, design, administration, analysis, reporting, interpretation, and presentation
  • Conduct and/or supervise the analysis of major organizational issues; design complex custom studies; prepare executive summaries; provide impact analyses and recommendations to assist executives in University wide strategic planning and decision making
  • Utilize assessment and planning expertise to develop, research, and evaluate standardizations for institutional reporting practices; design creative, innovative strategies that reflect current industry trends
  • Develop and administer research and assessment budgets
  • Serve as a member of core management and University strategic planning committees
  • Lead cooperation and collaboration across units and departments
  • Supervise staff members, including hiring, development, and performance management

Salary Structure
  • Comp Grade – 13
  • Minimum – $86,300.00
  • MidPoint – $107,900.00
  • Maximum – $129,500.00

10+ years of relevant experience, includes 3+ years of supervisory experience
