Airport Operations Supervisor – Senior Supervisor (PSU0495)
Job Summary
The Airport Operations Supervisor facilitates overall management and operation of the University Park Airport and Aviation Center. Responsibilities include coordinating and supervising airfield and facility repair, maintenance, construction; maintaining a safe and secure operational environment; creating and updating manuals and plans; monitoring regulatory compliance; assisting with capital project initiatives; supervising personnel.
Representative Duties
- Coordinate and monitor airfield, facility, grounds, and equipment maintenance, repair, construction, etc.; identify upgrade requirements
- Create a safe environment for air operations, personnel, patrons, and customers; direct snow removal and ice control operations; monitor and manage wildlife on and around the airfield; oversee safety inspections; respond to unsafe condition notifications
- Facilitate, coordinate, and maintain communications between air traffic control and maintenance personnel
- Serve as Airport Security Coordinator; develop, review, and update security programs, directives, policies, and procedures
- Keep abreast of regulatory requirement changes; create and update manuals and plans including Part 139 Airport Certification Manual and Airport Emergency Plan; develop and conduct training; monitor compliance
- Assist manager in identifying, studying, and pursuing capital project initiatives and enhanced airline services
- Hire, train, coach, supervise, schedule, and evaluate employees; plan and coordinate professional development opportunities; adhere to Collective Bargaining Agreement provisions; participate in grievance/arbitration proceedings

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 11
- Minimum – $68,200.00
- MidPoint – $85,200.00
- Maximum – $102,300.00
