The Associate Head Coach (Division III) serves as a senior member of the coaching staff and shares responsibility with the Head Coach for the leadership, administration, and competitive success of an NCAA Division III intercollegiate athletics program; provides leadership in recruiting, coaching, student-athlete development, practice and competition planning, staff supervision, program operations, budget administration, team travel, and equipment management; represents the Head Coach at institutional, alumni, fundraising, and community events; supports program promotion and alumni engagement; assists in establishing team standards and policies; promotes the academic, athletic, personal, and social development of student-athletes; ensures compliance with University, conference, and NCAA rules while advancing the mission and values of the athletics program.

• Supervise assistant coaches, student managers, volunteer coaches, or other team personnel
• Participate in and/or lead the hiring of assistant coaches and team personnel
• Share responsibility with Head Coach in determining game-day coaching and strategy
• Assist with player development and practice planning and execution
• Control or oversee the budget
• Collaborate and/or lead the recruitment of top prospective student-athletes
• Assist Head Coach in guiding prospective student-athletes through the National Letter of Intent, initial eligibility, and admissions process
• Represent Head Coach upon request at events
• Represent Head Coach and the program to the media when requested
• Schedule, plan, organize, and/or conduct summer sport camps in support of athletics and the University; promote the growth of sport camps
• Adhere to University, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations with a clear mandate to self-report any violations
