Student Conduct Manager – Manager (PSU1778)
Job Summary
The Student Conduct Manager has oversight for all student conduct/and or student-related incidents of sexual or gender-based discrimination, harassment policies, and procedures across the University; oversees policy development, implementation, evaluation, and program services related to crisis-oriented impacts across all campus locations; oversees student conducted related investigations, Clery Act, Childline requirements, and Title IX cases to ensure support/accommodations for students; serves as a resource for faculty and staff on due process, liability and risk issues, and constitutional protection issues related to student conduct, student duty of care, and federal laws including ADA, OCR, and related rulings; represents the University on student conduct issues to parents, local, state and federal agencies, and University administrative and academic units; supervise and manage conduct team staff.
Representative Duties
- Direct and oversee strategic planning and evaluation of programs and services to develop University conduct policy and procedures
- Oversee the University's response to all Title IX/and or student conduct or student related incidents to ensure appropriate response and documentation
- Ensure University policies are followed as well as applicable federal and state laws
- Stay up to date as subject matter expert of all current state and federal law regulations and trends
- Work with various campus partners such as Affirmative Action Office, Gender Equality, Office of Student Conduct, General Counsel, etc. in the management of cases
- Develop and maintain relationships with campus and community partners to include the Center for Women Students, Counseling and Psychological Services, University Health Services, Centre County Women's Resource Center, University and local police agencies, etc., to ensure continuity of services
- Collaborate across all areas of the university, local, and state levels to be an effective public representative of Penn State’s Student Affairs organization and the University
- Develop the budget and monitor spending plans
- Responsible for overall supervision of full-time and part-time staff
- May participate in various groups such as the Behavior Threat Management Team, Title IX review group, etc.

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 12
- Minimum – $76,700.00
- MidPoint – $95,900.00
- Maximum – $115,100.00
