Healthcare Services Manager – Senior Manager (PSU2432)

Job Summary

The Healthcare Services Manager provides direction and leadership for the business operations of University Health Services; develops and implements business plans to improve services, customer experience, fiscal health, resource allocation, and data and reporting activities; hires, mentors, evaluates, and develops a team of employees.

Representative Duties

  • Oversee the administrative, business, and ancillary functions of University Healthcare Services
  • Manage a team of department leaders; partner with leaders to establish and measure business and service goals; consult on long range planning, budget development, and operational optimization
  • Oversee the University Healthcare Services budget including budget development and forecasting; present budget plans and performance to leadership teams; establish service rates
  • Partner with facility and IT departments to ensure the integrity and maintenance of University Healthcare Services facilities, technology, and equipment
  • Develop and generate reports to track, analyze, and present operational and financial performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with government and University requirements related to the environment of care and safety
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements with insurance companies and external vendors
  • Hire, train, coach, supervise, schedule, and evaluate employees; identify and deliver professional development opportunities; oversee workflows and assign priorities; adhere to Collective Bargaining Agreement provisions

– Typically has final signature authority for specific area

Salary Structure
  • Comp Grade – 12
  • Minimum – $76,700.00
  • MidPoint – $95,900.00
  • Maximum – $115,100.00

10+ years of relevant experience, includes 3+ years of supervisory experience
