Penn State Alumni Association Manager – Senior Manager (PSU0293)
Job Summary
The Penn State Alumni Association (PSAA) Manager works cross functionally with various University partners to ensure the successful, efficient, and effective operation of the University Alumni Association. This position is responsible to develop and implement comprehensive and innovative strategies the help to connect the Alumni Association to students and the University. The PSAA manager is responsible for several functional areas such as student engagement, alumni and career services, events, travel, and volunteer services as they relate to the PSAA.
Representative Duties
- Develop strategic and innovative programs, approaches, and volunteer opportunities for students and alumni
- Lead the implementation of strategic priorities for the Alumni Association as it relates to local and regional programs, recognition programs, alumni career services, volunteer involvement, and student engagement efforts
- Establish goals for Engagement programs that reflect the priorities of the Association and University
- Lead the strategic planning process, development, monitoring, and fulfillment for the Engagement team and for the Division
- Facilitate the governance of the PSAA project portfolio and provide project management; responsible for associated project management information systems
- Administer the Engagement unit budget; prepare budget projections and monitor expenses; approve and allocate expenses to appropriate cost centers; and generate and track revenue
- Collaborate with Alumni Association units to identify sponsorship opportunities for events, programs and services and ensure that deliverables are executed according to contractual arrangements
- Develop, implement, and optimize association-wide reporting and analytics solutions; develop assessment tools to measure the success of Association engagement activities and events
- Develop and maintain relationships with the Alumni Association’s partners in Student Affairs, Intercollegiate Athletics, Government Relations, the Undergraduate Admissions Office, the World Campus, and community organizations
- Assist with oversight of the Alumni Association's governing board and staff select committees
- Lead a team of direct reports, including all hiring, performance, and professional development responsibilities

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 15
- Minimum – $109,300.00
- MidPoint – $136,600.00
- Maximum – $164,000.00
