Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Manager – Manager (PSU1681)
Job Summary
The Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Manager serves in a facilities leadership role to maximize asset performance, minimize downtime, optimize labor utilization, and ensure coordination of efforts University-wide; responsible for communicating and coordinating the processes and procedures within and between the various departments.
Representative Duties
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate assigned staff and technical-service employees
- Manage and oversee incoming work requests, enhancement uptime of systems, and prioritization of backlog
- Provide strategic planning for the assigned unit; perform, administer and/or delegate activities to unit members
- Performance management including efficiency and effectiveness, develop asset allocation recommendations and planning
- Review project activity reports, customer surveys, and other performance data
- Train and mentor supervisors, support staff, and colleagues
- Budgetary oversite of departmental spending
- Develop and evaluate changes/enhancements to new/existing continuous quality improvement practices; approve/implement as appropriate
- Collaborate with colleagues, peers, and academia professions to instill a reliability centered maintenance program with an emphasis on preventive maintenance optimization

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 13
- Minimum – $86,300.00
- MidPoint – $107,900.00
- Maximum – $129,500.00

Bachelor's Degree

8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience
