Job Summary

The Renovation Services Manager plans, directs, coordinates, and oversees renovation services and operations. Manager responsibilities include reviewing and evaluating bids and estimates; determining equipment, material, and labor requirements; aligning work and trades schedules; collaborating with internal and external partners; providing technical consultation and expertise; conducting site visits; ensuring a safe work environment; overseeing job specification, regulatory, and bargaining unit compliance; forecasting, developing, and administering budgets; developing guidelines, rules, polices, procedures and operational changes; hiring, training, evaluating, and developing personnel.

Representative Duties

  • Oversee renovation services and operations; ensure project completion is timely and on-budget; initiate corrective action as needed
  • Review and evaluate bids and estimates; determine equipment, material, and labor requirements
  • Align and approve work and trades schedules; communicate priorities
  • Confer, collaborate, and provide technical consultation to engineers, designers, architects, estimators, planners, facility coordinators, etc.
  • Conduct site visits; ensure project specifications and regulatory requirements are met; oversee compliance inspections and occupancy approval reviews; address, resolve, refer, and report issues
  • Advise senior management on matters related to area of operation
  • Forecast, develop, and administer budgets; identify and implement cost containment measures; develop new and maximize existing revenue sources; monitor efficiency and productivity; research and requisition equipment and supplies
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements; develop operational changes, policies, and procedures; establish and communicate standards; manage regulatory and policy compliance including licensing, certifications, and training
  • Ensure a safe work environment; participate in emergency planning and response; oversee accident investigations; seek and implement improvement opportunities
  • Develop, implement, communicate, and enforce guidelines, rules, policies, and procedures
  • Review, manage, and promote sustainability efforts
  • Hire, train, coach, supervise, schedule, and evaluate employees; plan and coordinate professional development opportunities

Salary Structure
  • Comp Grade – 15
  • Minimum – $109,300.00
  • MidPoint – $136,600.00
  • Maximum – $164,000.00
