Privacy and Security Compliance Manager – Senior Manager (PSU0088)
Job Summary
The Privacy and Security Compliance Manager oversees regulatory and policy compliance governing data use, dissemination, and protection. Responsibilities include overseeing, managing, and maintaining the Privacy and Security Compliance program—conducting outreach and education, monitoring audits and investigations, analyzing data and preparing reports, resolving non-compliance concerns, and providing guidance/recommendations.
Representative Duties
- Oversee the University’s Privacy and Security Compliance program; assist faculty, staff, and students conduct University activities in accordance with privacy and security regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines including the General Data Protection Regulation, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, and Gram-Leach-Bliley Act, etc.
- Educate, advise, and guide on data use, dissemination, and protection
- Develop privacy and security compliance monitoring policies; establish goals and objectives; identify successful program indicators
- Keep abreast of changing regulatory requirements and organizational demands impacting privacy and security; disseminate information
- Develop and implement outreach and educational programs; instruct on privacy and security requirements, policies, and best practices
- Manage/conduct internal quality assurance audits and inspections; maintain records; prepare reports detailing observations, risks, recommendations; make appropriate notifications; provide instruction/guidance to resolve non-compliance findings
- Prepare University personnel for sponsor, grantor, accrediting body, and regulatory authority privacy and security compliance audits and inspections; conduct pre-audit/inspection interviews and record reviews identifying areas of concern; prepare reports and provide advice
- Hire, train, coach, supervise, and evaluate employees; identify and provide professional development opportunities

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 16
- Minimum – $123,200.00
- MidPoint – $157,100.00
- Maximum – $191,000.00

10+ years of relevant experience, includes 3+ years of supervisory experience
