Research Compliance Assistant – Intermediate Support (PSU0107)
Job Summary
The Research Compliance Assistant supports daily activities and administrative processes including managing calendars; responding to or directing inquiries; monitoring case progress/deadlines; supporting data management; managing file maintenance, storage, security; assisting with correspondence and documentation drafts/reviews/edits; arranging and attending meetings; assisting with training and outreach.
Representative Duties
- Facilitate research compliance by supporting and coordinating daily activities and administrative processes; ensure efficient workflow, facilitate team communication, monitor case progress/deadlines, manage calendars, answer/direct phone calls, greet visitors, distribute mail
- Act as first point-of-contact for research compliance inquiries; process and pre-screen incoming research applications; respond to or direct inquiries to appropriate team/personnel
- Maintain files and documentation; ensure proper storage, retention, and security; as required, sequester data and other evidence; ensure destruction at retention end
- Support data management activities through data entry, coding, and generating reports
- Coordinate with other administrative units to ensure timely inquiry and investigation reporting
- Assist with editing, preparing, and submitting correspondence, summaries, reports
- Assist with reviewing/revising research compliance policies and procedures
- Assist with vetting potential inquiry and investigation committee members/officials
- Arrange/attend compliance committee and other meetings; reserve rooms; prepare materials; assist with compiling analyst review materials and documentation; monitor regulatory quorum requirements; prepare meeting agenda/itineraries; record/prepare minutes
- Assist with internal training and external outreach; schedule and organize training sessions; track and monitor attendance/completion

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 5
- Minimum – $38,300.00
- MidPoint – $46,900.00
- Maximum – $55,500.00

2+ years of relevant experience
