Access and Disability Compliance Specialist – Advanced Professional (PSU2116)
Job Summary
The Access and Disability Compliance Specialist administers requests for access and disability accommodations, supports the creation and implementation of University disability compliance policies and procedures, keeps abreast of regulatory requirements, conducts compliance audits, and conducts compliance education and training.
Representative Duties
- Administer requests for reasonable access and disability accommodations
- Consult and collaborate with internal partners on disability-related issues across the University; advise on and implement disability compliance policies, procedures, and best practices
- Evaluate documentation, research potential accommodations, determine questions for providers, negotiate solutions, and ensure compliance with disability law
- Investigate complaints of alleged discrimination based on disability, interview involved parties, research policies, and create reports
- Keep abreast of regulatory compliance requirement changes; disseminate information to relevant parties
- Facilitate collaborations between human resources, supervisors, and health care providers to determine, communicate, and provide accommodations
- Assist with developing, implementing, and conducting trainings on accommodation processes, policy updates, and disability topics
- Collect, maintain, and review compliance activity documentation including investigations, reports, and requests

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 9
- Minimum – $56,200.00
- MidPoint – $68,800.00
- Maximum – $81,500.00
