Facilities Project Manager – Advanced Professional (PSU0678)
Job Summary
The Facilities Project Manager oversees all aspects of various facility maintenance and improvement projects; coordinates work activities of internal staff, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure satisfactory delivery of assigned projects; tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators and prepares and delivers reports to management; selects, negotiates with, and manages activities of external consultants or vendors.
Representative Duties
- Lead the development of project scope of work, budget, and timeline
- Solicit and select contractors and related consultants and suppliers
- Communicate and provide reports and presentations outlining the project status to the customer and senior University management
- Ensure safety risk assessment, environmental health, and infection control policies (HMC), as applicable, are adhered to
- Represent the University to ensure all code compliance is obtained
- Review and analyze change order requests for merit and cost reasonableness
- Review and approve requests for payment
- Monitor market and industry trends to ensure new methods of executing work are investigated and implemented within the department
- Identify problem solving opportunities to enhance University project management abilities
- May supervise staff members, including hiring, development, and performance management

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 12
- Minimum – $76,700.00
- MidPoint – $95,900.00
- Maximum – $115,100.00
