Integrated Security Manager – Manager (PSU0159)
Job Summary
The Integrated Security Manager within the Applied Research Laboratory oversees Federal Government agency and other industrial security programs and related security activities; ensures compliance with government and university security policies, directives, and procedures; manages all aspects of the security process; develops and directs the organization's security strategy; oversees implementation of the effort to minimize loss, enhance security, and create business opportunity through the control of risk.
Representative Duties
- Develop, conduct, and implement complex security plans for Federal Government agency and other industrial security programs
- Oversee management of Communications Security (COMSEC)
- Fulfill contractual security responsibilities as mandated by various government customers
- Benchmark with other organizations to utilize best practices and principles in security management
- Manage all aspects of Government Manuals related to security of information technology, development of policy, compliance auditing, education, and system accreditation
- Provide policy interpretation to management regarding security requirements and procedures
- Conduct Information Systems Security audits and system administration to ensure compliance with security directives
- Provide classification and document management and investigate and resolve security incidents
- Oversee management of personnel security to include processing clearances, training, briefings, facility security, and compliance inspections
- Provide budget information in forecasting requirements for the special security cost center
- Monitor issuance of government forms (e.g., DD 254) for classified contracts in support of a delivery order, subcontract, purchase order or request for proposal
- Lead, train, evaluate and mentor staff
- May be responsible for overseeing construction activities to meet security standards

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 14
- Minimum – $97,100.00
- MidPoint – $121,400.00
- Maximum – $145,700.00
