Organizational Development Manager – Principal Manager (PSU1987)
Job Summary
The Organizational Development Manager leads the University’s operational excellence team. This position provides oversight of project management, people analytics, and business analysis functions to ensure that strategic and operational initiatives are completed efficiently and effectively in support of the organization.
Representative Duties
- Partner with HR leadership to identify organizational priorities and ensure execution of initiatives
- Implement frameworks and standardized processes based on operational excellence best practices that support the successful execution of strategic and operational initiatives
- Manage large, complex HR projects that improve the customer experience, increase efficiency, and improve effectiveness
- Work with unit leadership to execute, review, and improve upon established methods
- Provide leadership with project updates and progress reports
- Work with University partners to assist with prioritization, resource allocation, and execution of University initiatives that require HR resources; serve as a subject matter expert on University-wide initiatives
- Provide consultation to help analyze problems, identify gaps, and recommend solutions
- Provide day-to-day management and leadership of the Operational Excellence team
- Champion and promote the value of operational excellence work
- Coach, mentor, and support HR in understanding project management, data analytics, and business process improvement processes

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 16
- Minimum – $123,200.00
- MidPoint – $157,100.00
- Maximum – $191,000.00

10+ years of relevant experience, includes 5+ years of supervisory experience
