Parking Supervisor – Supervisor (PSU1989)
Job Summary
Parking Supervisors oversee day-to-day and event parking operations. Responsibilities include supervising parking lot, deck, and facility access; enforcing parking rules and regulations; developing event parking plans; facilitating construction project parking accommodations; maintaining budgets; personnel supervision.
Representative Duties
- Supervise day-to-day and event parking operations including access, maintenance, and security of parking lots, decks, and facilities
- Direct parking permit, kiosk, and front desk services; ensure a quality customer service experience; provide timely response to inquiries and issues of concern; follow-up as needed, escalate as required
- Maintain knowledge of parking rules, regulations, and policies; oversee ticketing, appeals, vehicle towing and release
- Ensure awareness of event calendars impacting campus parking; liaise with event organizers, host facilities, police and others; develop parking plans including parking rates, lot rental fees, overflow contingencies, staffing needs; assist with traffic control/movement plans
- Monitor campus construction project impact on parking operations; facilitate accommodations and provide notifications
- Maintain a safe and secure parking environment; inspect facilities, lots, equipment, lamping, signage; coordinate maintenance/repair
- Manage parking services and parking enforcement uniform distribution, collection, cleaning, repair, and replacement
- Keep abreast of parking industry technology and developments; identify and recommend changes, enhancements, improvements
- Develop, plan, forecast, and maintain budgets; identify cost containment measures and new revenue sources; authorize invoice payments
- Hire, train, coach, supervise, schedule, and evaluate employees; identify, plan, and coordinate professional development opportunities; adhere to Collective Bargaining Agreement provisions; participate in grievance/arbitration proceedings

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 8
- Minimum – $51,000.00
- MidPoint – $62,500.00
- Maximum – $74,000.00
