Player Development Specialist – Intermediate Professional (PSU0429)
Job Summary
The Player Development Specialist is responsible for providing programs, resources, and opportunities for player development in the areas of player transition, career planning, community service and outreach, and life skills, in order to ensure student-athlete welfare.
Representative Duties
- Create and implement student-athlete professional development opportunities including internships, job fairs, and career coaching
- Coordinate and provide community service and outreach opportunities for student athletes
- Develop and deliver new student athlete orientation and summer bridge programs to ensure successful transitions
- Identify and facilitate access to University and community resources to ensure player well-being
- Coordinate and ensure compliance for auction and donation items
- Provide athletes with guidance related to social media conduct and media appearances
- Plan and implement special events for players and families

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 7
- Minimum – $46,400.00
- MidPoint – $56,800.00
- Maximum – $67,300.00
