Media Production Manager – Senior Manager (PSU0793)
Job Summary
Media Production Managers oversee the production of media assets for athletics, educational, entertainment, or other communicative purposes; collaborate with leadership to evaluate production needs and establish project timelines; work with Producers, Directors, and Production Specialists to develop creative or other content; plan and monitor production, including scriptwriting, research, lighting, recording, or editing; ensure final product adheres to established timelines and budgets.
Representative Duties
- Oversee strategic planning and implementation of media production and distribution
- Lead production personnel in the operation of production studios, editing suites, remote equipment, and live events
- Hire, train, manage, mentor and evaluate performance of staff
- Develop and implement guiding principles and practices governing media production and distribution
- Manage the efficient use of resources; assign staff, facilities, and equipment.
- Contact necessary vendors, suppliers, and other resources to allocate equipment and services to meet productions needs
- Guide production staff in the assigning and scheduling of internal and external production resources
- Ensure quality standards are met; provide advice and consultation on quality, design, and operations of productions
- Administer budgets, develop projections, and approve expenditures
- Serve as Executive Producer for projects from proposal through post-production
- Initiate and foster client relationships including preparing proposals and presentations, maintaining ongoing client contact, and providing informative communications

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 12
- Minimum – $76,700.00
- MidPoint – $95,900.00
- Maximum – $115,100.00

10+ years of relevant experience, includes 3+ years of supervisory experience
