Job Summary

The Academic Records Coordinator oversees student and academic records for an assigned program, college, or campus; analyzes academic records and makes decisions and recommendations to leadership to ensure appropriate implementation of policies and procedures pertaining to undergraduate and/or graduate student records.

Representative Duties

  • Assist with the adherence to policies, procedures, and activities pertaining to all aspects of student records across a college, campus, or assigned academic area; work closely with and follow the policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Office of the University Registrar
  • Provide student records related support; prepare summary reports and action items; draft student and departmental communication; respond to and work directly with students, parents, University offices, and faculty; adjust current and future student records as required
  • Review and process requests and update student course/program changes
  • Enter student action information into the student information systems; address discrepancies/issues related to their college or campus
  • Compile data from University records systems and across college records; generate and analyze reports
  • Manage, and coordinate, procedures concerning degree completion confirmation
  • Evaluate qualifications of students for a major; make recommendations and implement entrance to major exception decisions
  • May maintain adviser rosters and assignments
  • May supervise staff members, including hiring, development, and performance management

Salary Structure
  • Comp Grade – 3
  • Minimum – $31,600.00
  • MidPoint – $38,700.00
  • Maximum – $45,800.00
