Job Summary and Representative Duties

International Student Affairs Manager directs and serves as a resource to administrators and collaborates with University colleagues to advance institutional goals and global engagement endeavors; provide leadership on policy matters related to immigration regulations and support services for the international population; guide advising services on immigration, personal, social and cultural concerns; partner with Global Programs and University colleagues on proactive strategies and programs to enhance the enrollment, retention, and overall success of international students; mentor and support the international advising staff.

  • • Direct the operation and management of the International Student and Scholar Advising office
  • • Lead the plan, train, manage, and evaluate professional staff
  • • Provide leadership on matters related to immigration and visa regulations
  • • Serve as a resource to administrators and University on policy matters related to immigration and support services for the international population
  • • Analyze the effect federal policy changes related to the University
  • • Guide international student advising services on immigration, personal, social, and cultural concerns
  • • Engage in collaborative outreach with academic and student support service partners to enhance enrollment, retention, and student success
  • • Prepare presentations and training workshops
  • • Serve on University committees

Salary Structure
