Corporate Engagement Officer – Principal Professional (PSU1634)
Job Summary
Corporate Engagement Officers develop and advance University-industry relationships with assigned companies to grow investment in philanthropy, research, and student recruitment; work closely with key faculty and academic leaders throughout Development and Alumni Relations, the Office of Research, and Career Services to advance the mission of the University through taking a holistic approach to industry partners; manage a portfolio of major organizational gift prospect; lead staff to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward companies and foundations in support of University fundraising goals; contribute to the overall strategy and operation of the Corporate Engagement Center.
Representative Duties
- Lead the direction of internal and external stakeholder development; draft and maintain holistic strategies and action plans for assigned corporate partners; build enduring relationships across research, philanthropy, and career services
- Incorporate all aspects of corporate engagement including professional development, alumni relations, and student engagement
- Meet regularly with directors and executives of assigned companies, both internal and external, to gain an understanding of strategic company needs; translate needs into actionable workstreams and solicitations
- Identify and cultivate key leadership champions and alumni base at assigned companies
- Own the corporate research collaboration kickoff process for new relationships
- Assess and rank alumni within assigned companies; link appropriate research, career, philanthropy, venture capital, and other contacts
- Structure industry partnerships aligned with University and industry needs through collaborative partnerships with faculty and staff
- Manage and review prospect documentation of contacts and philanthropic goal setting
- May attend, present, and/or exhibit at key industry conferences to showcase university capabilities and academic offerings
- May perform intake and assessment for companies outside of the Corporate Engagement Center

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 13
- Minimum – $86,300.00
- MidPoint – $107,900.00
- Maximum – $129,500.00
