Graduate Enrollment Services Manager – Manager (PSU1671)
Job Summary
The Graduate Enrollment Services Manager provides direction and oversight for graduate student services, including leadership of Graduate Enrollment Services, across all graduate programs at the University; oversees the centralized graduate admissions processes and graduate student records; engages in strategic planning, decision-making, policy development, and problem solving for University-wide graduate student services issues.
Representative Duties
- Provide leadership and direction in planning, development, and implementation of goals, objectives, and guidelines related to admission, enrollment, and graduation of graduate students
- Determine staffing and operational needs
- Review requests for exceptions to policies and/or for retroactive procedures to include but not limited to retroactive drop/adds, withdrawals, cancellations, time to degree extensions, leave of absence requests, and grade changes
- Monitor and implement changes in policies and procedures; ensure procedures and decisions are in compliance with all university policies and Federal Regulations
- Oversee the design and delivery of workshops and training pertaining to admissions and enrollment services for program heads, college administrators, and graduate program staff members
- Collaborate with leadership in response to student crisis situations
- Oversee the maintenance, disposition, and security of applicant and student records; ensure compliance with University retention policies
- Disseminate and articulate policy and procedural changes to graduate programs and other administrative units
- Work with International Students and Scholars, Academic Units, and representatives from partnership institutions through the creation or updating of agreements; oversee the review process and evaluation of domestic and foreign educational credentials
- Research institutions outside the U.S. to establish official recognition/accreditation status; perform research and analysis of challenging or disputable foreign educational records
- Identify internal and external challenges through benchmarking and constituent feedback
- Provide advice to academic units and colleges on handling and resolving difficult situations arising between students, advisers, committee members, and faculty
- Research and review materials for appeals and terminations; assist and advise leadership through complicated termination cases
- Engage in strategic planning, decision-making, policy development, and problem solving for University-wide graduate student services issues

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 11
- Minimum – $68,200.00
- MidPoint – $85,200.00
- Maximum – $102,300.00
