Promotion and Tenure Coordinator – Senior Support (PSU1702)
Job Summary
The Promotion and Tenure Coordinator facilitates faculty affairs processes for a college; manages review schedules; collaborates with faculty to execute the review process including gathering and preparing documents and facilitating timely submissions; and liaises with central University offices to ensure compliance with academic policies.
Representative Duties
- Manage faculty affairs processes for a college including promotion and tenure, sabbatical leave, and non-tenure track promotions
- Establish schedules for the review process; facilitate committee meetings; manage submission timelines and ensure deadlines are met
- Gather, assemble, prepare, and upload documents including evaluator letters and dossiers
- Serve as a liaison with central University offices, review committees, Division heads, external reviewers, and faculty to coordinate and execute the review process
- Serve as college expert for review software and applications; maintain and organize information using online reviewing platforms
- Deliver training and workshops for staff, candidates, and committees on the promotion process; advise and consult departmental staff and faculty on best practices and procedures
- Oversee the process for fixed-term faculty reappointments; verify appointment information; maintain files; and generate reappointment letters
- Oversee the sabbatical leave process; facilitate the application process; distribute and track documents; review, edit, and submit sabbatical letters
- Manage non-tenure promotion process including collecting, reviewing, and editing materials
- Monitor, communicate, and interpret academic and administrative policies to ensure compliance

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 7
- Minimum – $46,400.00
- MidPoint – $56,800.00
- Maximum – $67,300.00
