Operations Engineering Manager – Manager (PSU1766)
Job Summary
The Operations Engineering Manager leads staff tasked with conducting investigations, evaluations, and applied research directed towards managing the procurement and consumption of energy and related commodities.
Representative Duties
- Oversee assigned areas; supervise staff members, including hiring, development, and performance management
- Direct all electricity and natural gas procurement services including market research, contract management, and procurement event scheduling with internal staff, external contract clients, and utility suppliers
- Manage contract client relationships and communicate with other client agencies and client managers regarding energy needs, initiatives, and results
- Manage assigned programs to include education, data collection, procurement, and conservation initiatives
- Administer program budgets; forecast for future needs and participate in strategic planning
- Responsible for assuring quality, cost effectiveness and timeliness of projects
- Evaluate existing standards and modify/improve as needed
- Assist the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania track and monitor progress toward its energy reduction goals though education and adoption new programs and platforms

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 15
- Minimum – $109,300.00
- MidPoint – $136,600.00
- Maximum – $164,000.00
