Employee Wellness Program Administrator – Advanced Professional (PSU1877)
Job Summary
The Employee Wellness Program Administrator creates, develops, implements, and manages health and well-being strategy, integrations, programs and services for University employees and their families. This position supports a thriving workforce through creation of a culture of health and well-being, working with HR leadership, governance committees, and other stakeholders to implement the overall total rewards strategy.
Representative Duties
- Create and implement the health and wellbeing strategy as part of the HR Strategic Plan; serve as benefits/health and wellness subject matter expert
- Research national and peer trends in health and well-being; work with various vendors and constituents internal and external to the University as well as in the community regarding development of a culture of health and well-being
- Establish and cultivate relationships with internal and external constituents to forecast strategies and programming that will achieve health and well-being/benefits goals
- Manage and oversee budget; develop long-term budget to meet strategic goals
- Analyze healthcare metrics and KPIs as well as utilization to recognize and address trends; support, direct, and coordinate Data Analytics Committee benefits analysis work
- Create and manage flu shot immunization program across all campuses, units, and colleges for all employees
- Negotiate rates, plan terms, and fee structures with wellness vendors on behalf of the University
- Manage and support new and existing health and well-being/benefits plan programs; serve as the project manager for various programs and initiatives
- Manage the Employee Assistance Program (EAP)/Health Care Help contract; develop and revise the strategy to engage faculty and staff in utilizing the EAP/Health Care Help program
- Oversee Breastfeeding Support Program; supervise and support the Breastfeeding Support Program Coordinator/Breastfeeding Consultant; analyze utilization data and make recommendations
- Provide training and marketing materials to employee groups, HR Consultants and Strategic Partners, FOs, leadership, and other employees across the University related to the health and wellness benefits strategy
- Collaborate with the HR Marketing department for Health and Wellbeing branding, marketing, and communication strategies

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 10
- Minimum – $61,800.00
- MidPoint – $75,700.00
- Maximum – $89,600.00
