Emergency Management Specialist – Senior Supervisor (PSU2212)
Job Summary
The Emergency Management Specialist implements the comprehensive emergency management program for the University through collaboration and coordination of plans, projects, training, exercises, and outreach within the University community and surrounding jurisdictions.
Representative Duties
- Research, coordinate, facilitate, develop, and write emergency management plans for multiple campuses across the University
- Conduct needs assessments; develop, and deliver training to teams at campuses and within units across the University to familiarize them with their plans and support the Emergency Management Program
- Lead teams through the process of creating emergency management plans for their area; support the creation of templates, training materials, individual accounts, and support documentation
- Assess improvements to the Emergency Operations Center; support personnel working in the center and oversee new technology implementation
- Implement and maintain the emergency notification and business continuity systems
- Identify the need for, develop, and facilitate exercises across multiple campuses and units to test the plans created in support of the Emergency Management Program
- Represent emergency management at local and state meetings and events
- Participate in and assist regional emergency management with large scale exercises and training
- Serve as a member of the Emergency Operations Center Activation Team

- Supervisory Responsibilities:

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 12
- Minimum – $76,700.00
- MidPoint – $95,900.00
- Maximum – $115,100.00
