Job Summary and Representative Duties

The Stewardship Manager oversees the stewardship team for a large college or campus; develops and implements the stewardship engagement strategies; oversees stewardship communications; develops strategies to increase financial investments or contributions from alumni or their families; coordinates and executes stewardship events.

  • Manage, implement, and direct all aspects of the stewardship program within assigned college or campus
  • Oversee and manage marketing and communications efforts related to unit stewardship program
  • Implement new initiatives and programs designed to enhance the stewardship activities of assigned college or campus
  • Serve on various boards and direct committees as requested
  • Develop individualized stewardship plans for donors
  • Execute creative stewardship plans; plan and execute stewardship-related events
  • May serve as the primary stewardship office contact for endowment management efforts and eSteward Access Administrator for all college, campus, and administrative unit Stewardship Coordinators
  • Act as liaison between the college or campus and the stewardship steering committee; attend meetings and make recommendations
  • Oversee assigned staff and interns

  • Minimum – $97,100.00
  • MidPoint – $121,400.00
