University Registrar Manager – Principal Manager (PSU2534)
Job Summary and Representative Duties
The University Registrar Manager leads teams responsible for overseeing and coordinating student records; provides leadership in the areas of curriculum changes, class and classroom scheduling, final exams, degree audit, athletic eligibility, academic record actions, transcripts, enrollment reporting, and student enrollment functions; is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing new records systems and services.
- Lead and supervise university registrar staff; establish job expectations, assign duties, ensure adherence to University policies and procedures, and evaluate performance
- Oversee the accurate and efficient maintenance of student academic records, including grades, transcripts, course registrations, degree audits, and academic histories
- Supervise the process for creating and updating student transcripts, degree verifications, and other academic documentation
- Solve complex academic records issues and serve as a key escalation point for problems
- Recommend operational and procedural changes to increase efficiencies and improve services
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of all student academic records
- Lead and participate on teams to implement record system changes; ensure changes are complete, accurate, and adhere to University policy
- Oversee enrollment and degree reporting management
- Manage a variety of high-level, confidential, and sensitive internal and external records communications
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with various internal and external customers
- Facilitate and direct the development of University course offerings; communicate with department scheduling personnel, academic records staff, and Campus Registrars
- Work closely with the Office of Student Aid to ensure the University maintains compliance with federal guidelines
- Oversee athletic eligibility to ensure compliance with NCAA, Big Ten, and University policies, while working closely with athletic compliance

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 12
- Minimum – $76,700.00
- MidPoint – $95,900.00
