Athletic Director - Commonwealth Campus – Senior Manager (PSU1802)
Job Summary
The Athletic Director - Commonwealth Campus provides leadership, direction, and oversight for the athletic program operations at a Commonwealth Campus; manages budgets, personnel, compliance, and operating procedures; establishes long-range plans to promote and grow the athletic program.
Representative Duties
- Administer the operations of a campus athletic program including intercollegiate sports and recreational athletic programs
- Supervise athletic staff including assistant directors, coaches, trainers, volunteers, student workers; oversee workflows, performance, and training and development opportunities
- Develop policies and procedures related to travel, game day operations, student athlete eligibility, risk management, contract management, fundraising, budget, and staffing
- Monitor conference and association rules, interpret and apply to campus athletic program operations and procedures; submit reports and documentation; collaborate with internal and external athletic associations to ensure safety, eligibility, and recruiting guidelines are followed
- Establish departmental goals and strategic plans; integrate vision into program operations
- Develop, forecast, and manage the athletic budget; identify and pursue new revenue opportunities
- Secure and negotiate athletic facility usage with cooperating organizations and institutions
- Represent the athletics department on various committees campus and University committees

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 12
- Minimum – $76,700.00
- MidPoint – $95,900.00
- Maximum – $115,100.00

10+ years of relevant experience, includes 3+ years of supervisory experience
