Job Summary
The Copywriter writes and edits content according to a set of specifications or a particular style; researches subjects, proofreads drafts, and updates writing products based on client or editor feedback; develops and maintains style guides, including editorial standards and policies.
Representative Duties
- Develop compelling copy for various digital and print platforms, including promotional literature, marketing collateral, media advertising, websites, and internal and external publications
- Discuss with clients the vision for the writing product; present drafts and ideas
- Conduct research and interviews to obtain factual information and authentic detail
- Understand target audiences and industry trends to create relevant and impactful messaging; vary language and tone of messages based on product, medium, and target audience
- Support the development of marketing campaigns by providing creative input and writing persuasive copy that aligns with objectives
- Work closely with designers, marketing specialists, and other team members to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all channels
- Review and refine existing written material to ensure clarity, consistency, and grammatical accuracy; submit work product for approval by supervisor, editor, or publisher

- Minimum – $56,200.00
- MidPoint – $68,800.00
- Maximum – $81,500.00
