Job Summary

The Case Manager - Mental Health provides consultation regarding medical and psychological concerns. This position works closely with care teams, physicians, parents and students to ensure students/patients have access to meet their needs including mental health, insurance, and basic needs.

Representative Duties

  • Facilitate the development of an effective care plan for student/other clients
  • Provide case management appointments to facilitate client connection to ongoing mental health services
  • Responsible for case management coordination; call insurance companies, perform online searches for services, communicate electronically with students regarding coverage and provider options.
  • Advocate for client access to mental health care and other needed services; explain services available to clients and facilitate hospitalization process when required
  • Manage record requests as needed
  • Assist students in obtaining prior records from medical or psychological treatment
  • Provide daytime Case Manager on-call coverage to facilitate continuity of services
  • Review crisis line reports and escalate client care as needed

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Comp Grade – 10
  • Minimum – $61,800.00
  • MidPoint – $75,700.00
  • Maximum – $89,600.00
