Physical Therapist – Senior Supervisor (PSU0275)
Job Summary
The Physical Therapist provides high quality physical therapy services and learning opportunities and is also responsible for the treatment of physical therapy patients.
Representative Duties
- Evaluate and treat a wide variety of patient types; develop treatment plans and set goals to address patient needs
- Implement treatments utilizing appropriate modalities, manual therapy techniques, and exercises
- Document patient care activities as well as changes to the patient plan of care
- Confer with physical therapy staff/medical team and discuss modification/coordination of treatment plans
- Assist with proper use, care, and maintenance of equipment; ensure safety standards are met
- May provide supervisory responsibilities within the PT department including supervising staff, solving problems, and maintaining department operations
- Provide assistance to the PT manager in coordinating work, participating in interviews, selecting staff and making purchases
- Interview, supervise, and train Penn State physical therapy volunteers and Kinesiology students; supervise student learning hours for multiple levels of volunteers and interns and write recommendations for graduate school or employment
- Design and maintain physical therapy templates utilizing the Point and Click software
- Design and complete quality improvement initiatives
- Present in-service programs to staff and others as needed to promote the department
- Keep abreast of new developments in physical therapy by attending clinics, seminars, and meetings

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 12
- Minimum – $76,700.00
- MidPoint – $95,900.00
- Maximum – $115,100.00
