Campus Recreation Specialist – Senior Supervisor (PSU0356)
Job Summary
The Campus Recreation Specialist provides oversight of a Campus Recreation area or unit; evaluates area needs; recommends and implements initiatives, processes, and procedures; collaborates with University departments to effectively administer recreation services; and may serve on the Campus Recreation leadership team.
Representative Duties
- Provide leadership and oversight of a Campus Recreation area including programming, facilities, operations, student development, or business services
- Administer and manage area budgets; analyze financial data; recommend adjustments
- Develop and analyze program area needs assessments, monitor and report on progress towards goals, plan for program growth; contribute to the Campus Recreation strategic plan
- Supervise recreation associate directors and recreation coordinators; indirectly manage student staff teams
- May serve as a member of the Campus Recreation senior staff team
- Collaborate with University departments including Risk Management, University Police, Student Affairs, OPP, and student associations
- May supervise staff members, including hiring, development, and performance management

- Supervisory Responsibilities:

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 7
- Minimum – $46,400.00
- MidPoint – $56,800.00
- Maximum – $67,300.00
