Job Summary

The Construction Contracts Administrator executes the preparation, review, and administration of contractual proposals relating to construction projects. Responsible for preparing bids and negotiating specifications for materials, equipment, workforce resources, or other construction services. Secures all necessary approvals and ensures that standard company procedures are followed.

Representative Duties

  • Evaluate and review front end contract documents for compliance with standards and policy
  • Conduct public and private bid openings
  • Perform and manage contractor prequalification process
  • Act as liaison to contractors, professionals, and agencies for feedback and issue resolution
  • Monitor electronic bidding system to ensure accuracy of contract administration information; offer and execute improvements
  • Continuously adjust general condition language to align with the project management process
  • Adhere to and educate staff on contract administration policies and procedures
  • Make recommendations and execute improvements to contract administration policy and procedures
  • Monitor MBE/WBE participation, program goals, and strategies and publish performance measures
  • Conduct MBE/WBE conferences and workshops

Salary Structure
  • Comp Grade – 9
  • Minimum – $56,200.00
  • MidPoint – $68,800.00
  • Maximum – $81,500.00
