Construction Contracts Administration Manager – Manager (PSU1747)
Job Summary
The Construction Contracts Administration Manager oversees the procurement of construction services; develops, evaluates, and updates contract administration policies and procedures; consults units and leadership on contract issues; serves as a liaison with Commonwealth departments, building and construction firms, and central units.
Representative Duties
- Manage the procurement of construction contracts including bidding processes, proposal evaluation, contract development, compliance reviews, and procurement approvals; develop and administer the University construction procurement process
- Consult and advise staff on issues including contract disputes, insurance issues, contract interpretation, and wage practices; collaborate with central University offices to execute and evaluate contracting processes
- Serve as a liaison with government entities, agencies, and capital construction programs
- Develop agreements with the Commonwealth and building firms; create and review forms of professional agreement
- Lead the selection of construction management and design firms
- Make recommendations and execute improvements to contract administration policy and procedures; research and implement best industry practices
- Oversee assigned staff including hiring, workflow delegation, development, and evaluation responsibilities

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 13
- Minimum – $86,300.00
- MidPoint – $107,900.00
- Maximum – $129,500.00

Bachelor's Degree

8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience
