Student Wellness Manager – Manager (PSU1554)
Job Summary
The Student Wellness Manager develops programs to teach the University community about conditions that affect your well-being; promote wellness by helping people adopt healthy behaviors; stay current on new research and community issues related to community welfare; plan, organize and direct strategic goals to implement and evaluate wellness initiatives.
Representative Duties
- Oversee the daily operation of health promotion services and programs
- Lead and promote the health services and programs for University
- Provide knowledge and guidance to leadership to promote health initiatives
- Maintain high standards for research-based initiatives and best practices
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of programs, evaluative responses, and create monthly reports
- Directly supervise, train, and evaluate staff
- Ensure that staff are educated and follow University policies related to HIPAA, FERPA, etc.
- Provide leadership to support the development of services and programs at all University campuses
- Develop and oversee cost centers/budgets
- Serve on leadership and University committees and/or taskforces

- – Manages direct reports where primary duty is the management of a working unit.
- Level Summary:
- – Demonstrates proficient ability in work design, project management, financial planning and development of goals for accomplishing unit assignments. Reviews and guides work to ensure conformity to policy and effective approaches. Evaluates employee performance and recommend development opportunities. Demonstrates ability to coach employees. Presents and communicates key university indicatives and connects it to unit contributions. Provides broad guidelines. Develops, evaluates, enhances, and/or implements quality improvement practices. Recommends innovative solutions.
- Supervisory Responsibilities:

– May plan, forecast, and/or assist in developing budgets

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 11
- Minimum – $68,200.00
- MidPoint – $85,200.00
- Maximum – $102,300.00

Master's Degree

8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience
