Automation and Integration Manager – Manager (PSU1724)
Job Summary and Representative Duties
The Automation and Integration Manager leads the design, development, and delivery of enterprise integration and automation solutions; is responsible for managing a team of Automation and Integration Specialists and Systems Administrators overseeing platforms such as BMC Control-M and Informatica to support data movement, workflow automation, and system interoperability across the University; manage production workloads, improve service availability, maintain quality, and deliver key services at the expected service levels.
Lead and mentor a team of Automation and Integration Specialists and Systems Administrators, providing guidance, technical oversight, and performance management
Oversee the development and maintenance of workflows, integrations, and automation pipelines using Control-M, Informatica, and other enterprise tools
Represent Integration and Workload Automation and its solutions across the University, collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data, infrastructure, application, and security teams to ensure integration solutions align with business goals and information technology standards
Lead, develop, and communicate, and ensure operational environments (service, technology, and integrations) are aligned with best practices, models, and processes (e.g., architecture, security, disaster recovery, monitoring)
Fulfill Service Manager responsibilities, including the development, monitoring, and reporting of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Metrics, and Continual Service Improvement; perform capacity planning, incident response, and problem management
Develop service strategy with leadership and customers to identify, prioritize, and align the implementation of new capabilities with the University’s strategy and needs
Communicate and coordinate with staff and leadership to ensure operational issues impacting service quality are escalated and/or resolved in an expedient fashion
Drive the adoption of best practices in system integration, workload automation, and process efficiency
Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and delivery of integration-related initiatives
Define and enforce integration architecture standards, documentation, and governance practices
Evaluate and implement tools and technologies to enhance integration capabilities, performance, and scalability
Develop KPIs and monitor the health, reliability, and performance of integration platforms
Ensure compliance with University policies, data security, and regulatory requirements
Serve as a technical escalation point for complex issues within the integration environment
Collaborate on the development of budgets, forecasts, resourcing, cost of services and planning activitiesÂ

- MidPoint – $107,900.00
