Classroom Technology Support Supervisor – Supervisor (PSU1741)
Job Summary
Classroom Technology Support Supervisors provide front line supervision for technicians tasked with supporting general-purpose classrooms and computer labs; provide oversight and coordination of the support hotline.
Representative Duties
- Hire, train, evaluate, and supervise technical-service (unionized) employees that support general purpose classroom technology
- Schedule and oversee work of employees
- Ensure quality standards are being upheld
- Establish and maintain operational procedures
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of life-cycle plans for all technology classroom equipment
- Liaison with other units on planning of installations and upgrades to classroom systems
- Process and/or order all technology components needed for new installation and life-cycle activity
- Follow Collective Bargaining Agreement provisions; participate in grievance procedures, hearings, and arbitrations as required

- Supervisory Responsibilities:

– Typically oversees at least 2 full–time direct reports or equivalent team of part–time and/or student workers (for Support track, performs work at Senior Support level or higher; for Professional track, performs work at the Advanced Professional level or higher)

– May monitor/track budgets for specific area and/or grant(s)

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 9
- Minimum – $56,200.00
- MidPoint – $68,800.00
- Maximum – $81,500.00
