Dietitian Manager – Manager (PSU1749)
Job Summary
Dietitian Managers assess, conduct, and analyze dietary habits and other nutrition related markers to develop nutrition strategies; implement policies and protocols to delivering education and counseling to those in need or assigned; create and implement dietary education programs to individuals, sports teams, and support staff members; may oversee activities of a unit/department to provide quantity food services, counsel of individuals, or conduct nutritional research; develop and coordinate menus and recipe development for those assigned, manage a team that includes Dietitians.
Representative Duties
- Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling
- Counsel individuals and groups on rules of good nutrition, healthy eating habits, and nutrition monitoring to improve their quality of life
- Make recommendations regarding public policy, such as nutrition labeling, food fortification, or nutrition standards for programs
- Organize, develop, analyze, test, and prepare special meals
- Provide nutrition education content at events specific to unique dietary needs
- Create and provide education to individuals, teams, and support staff members
- Coordinate recipe development and standardization to create and develop new menus
- Prepare and administer budget to purchase foods, supplies, and any dietary equipment needed
- May collaborate with sports performance teams, strength & conditioning, student welfare, applied health and performance science, performance psychology staff, and campus health to provide quality nutritional programs

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 11
- Minimum – $68,200.00
- MidPoint – $85,200.00
- Maximum – $102,300.00
