Talent Management Specialist – Intermediate Professional (PSU2246)

Job Summary

The Talent Management Specialist designs and delivers programs to support the continuing education and development of the University employee population. This position is also responsible for the full life-cycle design and delivery of talent management’s business skills training and new employee onboarding programs.

Representative Duties

  • Design, develop, and deliver educational and professional development programs to the University employee population; programs are developed in a variety of formats to reach various audiences
  • Establish curriculum and learning objectives; establish program structure and determine the appropriate delivery method
  • Lead all aspects of program logistics including the development of program calendars, development of program communications, and learning management system use
  • Partner with marketing and communications teams to develop marketing strategies to promote and support programs, including web content, emails, job aids, forms, and templates.
  • Conduct training/professional development needs assessments with stakeholders and work with subject matter experts to build content
  • Determine which systems and technologies will be used to support programs and the specific functionality required
  • Build a network of contractors to ensure Talent Management has subject matter experts to support program design and delivery
  • Partner with the Talent Management Director to develop and oversee budgets that support programs
  • Establish and execute program evaluation techniques
  • Establish and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor program activity; monitor evaluation data and make program adjustments as needed to ensure quality
  • Respond to inquiries from University stakeholders regarding leadership and management program opportunities
  • May supervise staff members, including hiring, development, and performance management

Salary Structure
  • Comp Grade – 8
  • Minimum – $51,000.00
  • MidPoint – $62,500.00
  • Maximum – $74,000.00
