Risk Management Associate – Senior Support (PSU2510)
Job Summary and Representative Duties
The Risk Management Associate provides technical and professional support to the Risk Management team; performs a broad range of responsibilities with a focus on insurance policy administration, data management, maintenance of system records, and office support activities; serves as the primary point of contact for the Risk Management Information System (RMIS), ensuring data accuracy and system functionality.
- Assist with gathering, consolidating, and preparing insurance underwriting submissions and reviewing proposals
- Process low-complexity and smaller-scale insurance policy renewals (e.g., surety bonds, broadcasting liability, advisory boards, alumni organizations, property cargo transit, and fine arts)
- Coordinate with insurance brokers and carriers to address questions and facilitate ongoing communication
- Review and triage incident reports; ensure proper digital documentation and virtual storage
- Report claims to appropriate insurers or third-party administrators, as directed; provide support for third-party recovery efforts
- Monitor and ensure timely processing of policy invoices and documentation
- Request and process insurance-related payments and invoices; maintain detailed check logs; coordinate issuance and tracking of checks
- Oversee the issuance and tracking of certificates of insurance
- Support internal charge-back and cost allocation processes
- Maintain up-to-date loss run reports, policy/coverage documentation, and premium tracking
- Regularly review loss data to support accurate funding and payment requests
- Coordinate the review and signature of compliance documentation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the RMIS platform, overseeing data imports/exports, general user support, updates, and system communications
- Support the development of presentations, reports, and documentation for traditional and enterprise risk management initiatives
- Schedule and prepare for internal meetings and special projects

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 6
- Minimum – $42,100.00
- MidPoint – $51,600.00
- Maximum – $61,000.00
