Career Services Manager – Senior Manager (PSU1209)
Job Summary
The Career Services Manager is responsible for providing oversight and direction to career services activities, including programming, career fairs, outreach, information and resource management, department operations, and data/assessment to support career growth and enhancement for students, alumni, and/or other community members.
Representative Duties
- Direct and manage career services employees within the areas of programming, career fairs, outreach, information and resource management, and data/assessment; provide supervision, coaching, and professional development opportunities
- Provide a vision for and oversight over career services' outreach and programming efforts; conceptualize, plan, implement, budget, and evaluate programs
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with institutional goals and address the evolving career needs of students and alumni
- Oversee outreach to students, alumni, University offices, faculty/staff, and other institutions of higher education to expand career services' reach and impact
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with employers, alumni, community partners, and industry leaders to create opportunities for internships, full-time employment, and networking events
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of quality services across all areas of career services
- Ensure that services and programs provided adhere to the required laws and ethical standards of the profession
- Assess program outcomes, analyze data, and refine services to ensure alignment with goals and labor market trends
- Represent career services within national, state, and local, conferences and networks

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 12
- Minimum – $76,700.00
- MidPoint – $95,900.00
- Maximum – $115,100.00

Master's Degree
Minimum Experience
10+ years of relevant experience, includes 3+ years of supervisory experience
Equivalency
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
