Education Program Manager – Senior Manager (PSU0623)
Job Summary
The Education Program Manager provides overall management and direction for a broad portfolio of educational initiatives; provides strategic leadership in the areas of innovation, community partnerships, development opportunities, finance, marketing, compliance, internal collaborations, and operational management.
Representative Duties
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for a business or educational unit that delivers a portfolio of programs
- Oversee and mentor a team of staff; direct workflows and assignments; manage hiring, performance evaluation, and training functions; and provide development opportunities
- Develop and manage budgets to achieve income and revenue goals
- Evaluate, develop, recommend, implement, and administer policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies
- Develop key performance indicators and metrics; direct assessment strategies and market research; make data informed recommendations to advance program growth
- Develop and direct innovation-related strategies and projects in the unit including significant new program opportunities involving technology, cross-unit collaborations, or major initiatives
- Develop business relationships with key community stakeholders; collaborate with academic leadership, regional, and University-wide units to implement programs
- Work strategically and collaboratively to develop and implement sales/marketing strategies for programs and services
- Raise revenues through sponsorships, fee-for-service or grants; respond to Requests for Proposals to offset unit or special project expenses
- Provide leadership and serve as a member of the senior management team engaged in strategic planning, decision-making, policy development and problem solving
- Provide leadership for a educational delivery team; supervise, train, mentor, develop, and evaluate staff; oversee workflow and delegate assignments

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 13
- Minimum – $86,300.00
- MidPoint – $107,900.00
- Maximum – $129,500.00

10+ years of relevant experience, includes 3+ years of supervisory experience
