HR Shared Services Manager – Manager (PSU2218)
Job Summary
The Human Resources (HR) Shared Services Manager oversees the operations of the HR Services Team; serves as a key resource in addressing issues, resolving customer concerns, identifying process improvements, escalating issues to appropriate groups, establishing and communicating team goals, and ensuring high-quality services related to general HR questions and concerns.
Representative Duties
- Lead the operations of the HR Services team, including implementing the vision and goals of the unit, HR, and the University
- Conduct regular team huddles and communications to share information and ensure the team is aware of changes
- Review and provide feedback to HR Consultants, HR Operations teams, and HR Professional Services team related to unresolved inquiries in the case management system; send reminders and suggestions for next steps, as appropriate
- Monitor the customer service, productivity and quality performance of the HR Services team and implement changes in process
- Mentor staff and direct the development and implementation of training, development, and communication activities
- Build effective working partnerships with Payroll, Data and Onboarding, Talent Acquisition, Unit HR, IT, etc.
- Play an active role in the upkeep of the case management system and the development of Knowledge Base Articles (KBA)
- Serve as a member of the case management system project team; act as functional subject matter expert related to case management and coordinate creation of relevant KBA content
- Lead case management system testing of all functionalities prior to implementation
- Create weekly and monthly metrics reports for HR Services team, leadership, and others
- Actively support strategic planning and organizational development efforts

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 11
- Minimum – $68,200.00
- MidPoint – $85,200.00
- Maximum – $102,300.00

8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience
