Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Manager plans, directs, and manages recruiting staff based on the strategic direction established by the director. This position ensures that the University recruiting plan and strategy are implemented and that milestones and goals are met.

Representative Duties

  • Plan, direct, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate the work activities of the talent acquisition team in their efforts across the University
  • Mentor, guide, advise, and counsel staff and the University community regarding recruiting and sourcing, policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Provide oversight to the team and implement the recruiting plan and strategy across the University
  • Assess business processes, strategies, and methods; identify and solution for technology and business process challenges
  • Compile, analyze, and capture insights from Talent Acquisition Specialists, customers, and data to inform process and strategy improvements
  • Review and evaluate University-wide talent acquisition practices and policies to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws; research and analyze best practices and make recommendations to assist in the development of new policies and programs
  • Establish standards and protocols to deliver extraordinary recruitment and sourcing services to clients; develop innovative recruitment strategies to create diverse high-quality candidate pools based on current and future University needs
  • Develop recruitment project plans for implementation
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow effectiveness; oversee process documentation, projects, and improvement initiatives
  • Provide continuous feedback as well as performance evaluations to grow and develop staff

Salary Structure
  • Comp Grade – 12
  • Minimum – $76,700.00
  • MidPoint – $95,900.00
  • Maximum – $115,100.00

10+ years of relevant experience, includes 3+ years of supervisory experience
