Job Summary

The Psychological Services Manager provides oversight and leadership for one or more areas of University counseling and psychological services unit. This position oversees various functions including daily operations, policies and procedures, budgets, purchasing/contract management, and several staff and/or trainees supporting the assigned area.

Representative Duties

  • Establish and oversee counseling and psychological programs, services, policies, and procedures
  • Develop and implement unit goals in alignment with University and department strategic plans
  • Forecast, plan, develop and manage operational budgets; identify new revenue streams; direct the allocation of funds
  • Evaluate and assess unit programs and services; ensure operational efficiencies
  • Provide clinical services for students including screening and crisis intervention; maintain a client caseload; co-lead student therapy groups
  • Train campus counseling center professionals in new services; coordinate with leadership regarding changes to University wide systems
  • Provide consultation, continuing education, and professional development opportunities to staff
  • Participate in the oversight of the electronic records system
  • Recruit, supervise, and evaluate staff

Salary Structure
  • Comp Grade – 16
  • Minimum – $123,200.00
  • MidPoint – $157,100.00
  • Maximum – $191,000.00

Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology

10+ years of relevant experience, includes 5+ years of supervisory experience
