Business Services Manager – Principal Manager (PSU0405)
Job Summary
The Business Services Manager directs the operations of large/complex business services. Responsibilities include leadership and supervision, budgeting and fiscal management, facility and equipment planning, and community relations.
Representative Duties
- Direct the operations of large/complex business services; analyze operations, establish responsibilities, coordinate functions
- Develop and maintain budgets; prepare financial analyses, forecasts, and reports; ensure operation funding; identify cost containment measures and new revenue sources; implement budgetary control and recordkeeping systems; negotiate/approve contracts/agreements
- Assess and project facility design and equipment obsolescence; research and identify solutions; participate in renovations and upgrade projects; consult with contractors, architects, facility planners; oversee equipment and facility maintenance
- Foster economic development opportunities; direct or conduct studies, or research issues; participate in project and activity planning
- Organize or approve promotional campaigns; oversee marketing and strategic planning; represent the business unit at official functions
- Manage events and ensure a quality customer service experience for internal and external customers; interact with customers, guests, staff
- Direct and oversee investigations and problem resolution related to customer service, product quality, and personnel performance
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for staff, customers, and guests; address and appropriately respond to issues of concern
- Oversee environmental management or sustainability programs addressing recycling, conservation, or waste management
- Keep abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements; develop operational changes, policies, and procedures; establish standards; ensure compliance
- Hire, train, coach, supervise, schedule, and evaluate employees; recommend, plan, and coordinate professional development opportunities; adhere to Collective Bargaining Agreement provisions; participate in grievance/arbitration proceedings

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 15
- Minimum – $109,300.00
- MidPoint – $136,600.00
- Maximum – $164,000.00

10+ years of relevant experience, includes 5+ years of supervisory experience
