Campus Recreation Manager – Senior Manager (PSU0477)
Job Summary
The Campus Recreation Manager provides oversight of a Campus Recreation program including program content and offerings, business operations, long range planning, operating procedures, and budget; provides oversight and development of a campus recreation team; and makes recommendations for changes based on program assessments.
Representative Duties
- Lead and oversee a Campus Recreation program; design engaging and relevant program offerings including lessons, events, trips, courses, and recreational opportunities; provide vision, direction, and long-range planning for programs
- Provide leadership for a campus recreation team; responsible for oversight of hiring logistics, staff schedules, development and training opportunities, workflow, and staff responsibilities
- Plan, analyze, and administer program budget
- Direct business operations including registration practices and program promotion strategies; draft proposals and reports to provide to stakeholders, directors, and unit leadership
- Develop operating procedures, policies, and action plans to ensure consistency, safety, and compliance; ensure compliance with government and University regulations
- Coordinate efforts between facilities, operations, marketing, and business offices to execute programming logistics
- Secure program resources including equipment, space, and staffing; recommend and select new equipment
- Assess program success; determine performance metrics; recommend improvements; provide leadership with data to represent program success and value

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 11
- Minimum – $68,200.00
- MidPoint – $85,200.00
- Maximum – $102,300.00

10+ years of relevant experience, includes 3+ years of supervisory experience
