TLT Specialist – Advanced Professional (PSU1113)
Job Summary
Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) Specialists guide the exploration, development, evaluation, and/or implementation of new, experimental technology initiatives that support teaching, learning, and research.
Representative Duties
- Provide consultative services to faculty, staff, and students on the effective use of emerging media technologies for teaching and learning
- Develop innovative resources and instructional material in support of faculty and student scholarly pursuits
- Assess effectiveness of Media Commons, Maker Commons, and immersive experience lab initiatives
- Oversee prototyping services administration, including 3D printing, 3D modeling, robotics, electronics, virtual reality, and augmented reality
- Explore and test new technologies to enhance teaching and learning
- Evaluate proposals and work with vendors for the acquisition of products and services
- Plan and implement workshops in area of technology expertise
- Stay current with new technologies, trends, and pedagogical practices

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 10
- Minimum – $61,800.00
- MidPoint – $75,700.00
- Maximum – $89,600.00
